First of all , I wanted to thank everyone that helped pass along and re tweeted my article about BEA. So thank you to the tribes on Tribeer that I belong to and all my followers. You guys are the best!

I got a great response and have resolved my issue. That got me thinking about the power of the internet and how it’s used today. Before the internet, we had television and radio. There have always been voices over the waves and on TV that fought the power. Those mediums are still used today and are just as powerful. If we look at today, there are so many social media outputs that I think my head continues to spin every time a new one comes out. The main ones though are, Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest. In the age of many ways to communicate, it can be used for good and for bad. Just think, how many times you saw something bad on the internet (i.e people being racist) or good (ie. alerted you to a scam or issue)?

Have you ever used social media to get what you wanted? Did you get a response? This is not my first time in using social media to talk about things that have happened. I’ve used it on several services such as Optimum when I disagreed with their service. Others were to praise that products such as Bose and Pepsi. After the recent events, I feel that the power of the internet is alive and well. Even as a writer, there are so many scams and negative things out there. We all have to find out what’s going on and find out how to protect ourselves. I always tell people, GOOGLE is your best friend. Use it to search for what you need. So as long as there are ways to communicate with others about the bad things running around, I’ll keep writing about them!  So talk to me:  how do you use your social media?
